Our Story: A Tampa Legacy Since 1933

In the heart of the Great Depression my Grandfather, Solomon Hayman, began his family business by selling jewelry out of the trunk of his car. By 1933 Hayman Jewelry opened its doors with a simple but enduring promise: to provide the people of Tampa with exceptional craftsmanship and honest service.

In the years following, the business provided jobs for the entire Hayman family, 8 siblings in total. My Dad, Dan Hayman, worked at the store as a teen, learning the craftsmanship of jewelry design and repair. He still works here, has been involved with the family business for over 60 years, and is a Master Jeweler.

I am his daughter, Alison, the third generation Hayman to become involved with the family business. My sister, Samantha, recently joined us and has become an integral part of custom designs.

As Tampa's oldest jewelry store, we don't just sell jewelry; we build relationships that have lasted for generations. Family owned and operated from day one, we established ourselves as a cornerstone of the community, known for our integrity and the two Master Jewelers who bring artistry to every repair and custom design.

My Grandfather always said that 'trust' is the key to a successful business. We have now been family owned and operated for over 90 years and remain Tampa's oldest jewelry store.
